The audiobook for A Warrior’s Knowledge should go into production next week. Even better, once again, Nick Podehl is the narrator!

What I’m working on now…
It’s been awhile since I posted an update, so I thought I’d do so. Work on the next book is coming along in fits and starts. It’s a challenge because of one particular character and the setting. She’s a hard one to write, and I’ve had to go back and rethink her multiple times. I…
Tanith Lee-the loss of another legend
What a gut kick to learn that she’s passed away. Her books were so influential in the entire fantasy landscape, and I wish more people knew about her books, especially the Paradys novels and the Tales from the Flat Earth. She could write creepy mood and evocative setting like no one else and incorporate horrific…
A new short story
I was asked to submit a short story to the new Journeys anthology, which is currently free on KU and $0.99 on Kindle. My story deals with the legendary warrior Hume at the time of Hammer’s Fall. Some of the other authors are bestsellers, so I’m giddy with excitement at being including with them. …
New formatting for books 1 and 2
I’m updating the appearance of both the ebooks and print versions of books 1 and 2. The story itself remains the same, but the presentation of the words is so much prettier now. Here’s a glimpse of what the ebooks will look like. The print version is even nicer. They should be ready to go…
The Whedonverse explained
Whoever came up with this is a genius. I wonder if it was first on Cracked in 2014?

Hi Chaz,
Nick is narrating Book 2 this week. We’ll go over any questions he has toward the end of the week, then I have to listen to the entire thing. So, I would guess it will be available early to mid-November.

Thanks, Rich! I’m glad you liked it.

So is there any indication when the book will become available?
Sir…. your first book is inspiring, and now I would love to listen to the second one, but no matter what I google I can’t seem to find a release date or pre-order info on Audible or anywhere. I hope you can end my wait suffering, and thank you for your work.
Hi Christopher,
I’m glad you liked the book so much! As for book 2, the narration is complete. I’ve listened to it, and Nick did another fantastic job. The release date is somewhat dependent on Audible, but it should be availabe by the end of the month at the latest.
Sincerely,
Davis
