I’m slowly getting more and more excited to see this. Terry Brooks’ classic Elfstones of Shannara on television. The visuals alone are great, and I just hope the writing for the show is just as good.

HeroesCon
I went to my first Con this past weekend! It was HeroesCon 2014 in Charlotte, NC. I’d never been to a Con before and had no idea what to expect. Wish I could have liked it more.

The artist is Jakub Rozalski, who goes by the sobriquet “Mr. Werewolf”, and his paintings are from a set titled World of 1920+, an alternate history that inspired the board game Scythe and a video game. The paintings are wonderful, and I’d definitely read…
